Antonella graduated with A-levels in Biological Sciences in 2004. She later obtained a PhD in Physical Activity Sciences and qualified to become a licensed biologist. Since 2010 she has worked as a nutritionist, creating personalised nutritional plans for both the healthy and those with clinically-diagnosed conditions. She also specialises in the nutrition of women and children, studying nutritional protocols based on national and international guidelines. As a specialist, Antonella is the point of reference for nutrition of a portal dedicated to pregnant women and mothers. She is a member of the Italian association of biologists and of SINU (the Italian association of human nutrition), and also worked as an instructor for the ‘Nutrition School of Palermo’, organised by the Italian association of biology students, not to mention a number of experimental projects in schools.

Caterina Saeli
Law

Caterina is a lawyer-linguist. She graduated in Law in 2011 and, as part of her university education, spent six months in Spain, studying Law at the University of Valencia within the Erasmus project. After completion of her training to become a lawyer, Caterina passed the Italian Bar Examination in 2016 and, since then, she has been a member of the Italian Bar Association. Caterina works as a lawyer and cooperates with an international law firm. She mainly deals with international clients with respect to Civil Law matters in general, focusing in particular on personal injury cases, succession and probate law, real estate matters, commercial law. Caterina has always nourished her passion for languages: she speaks fluent English and Spanish and she is currently attending a specialised course in legal translation at the University of Genoa, which focuses on both translation and revision.

Daniele Palumbo, PhD
Fitness & Wellness

Daniele completed a five-year degree course in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and, in 2009, obtained a PhD in Physical Activity Sciences. He has since worked as a kinesiologist, focusing on post-traumatic functional recovery and muscle strengthening.

Pharmacology

Francesca graduated in Pharmacy in 2012; she completed the Italian five-year degree course studying subjects such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmacology and Toxicology, Drug Analysis and others. Since 2013, she has worked as a pharmacist at a private pharmacy, providing her clients with professional advice on drugs, veterinary medicines, herbal medicinal products and homoeopathic remedies.

Francesco Zingales
Marketing

Francesco graduated as a translator and interpreter. He later obtained two Master’s Degrees, one in Interpreting at the London Metropolitan University and one in International Relations. He has served as an interpreter during several high-profile events in Italy, ranging from medical congresses to international food festivals, while routinely performing translations on a wide range of technical topics. During his work as an in-house translator for an international law firm, he began to lay the foundations of his marketing career. He then focused on all aspects of digital marketing. After moving to London and joining an award-winning media agency, Francesco now specialises in Marketing and Media-related translations, while routinely interpreting and translating in combinations of the following languages: Italian, English, French, German and Spanish.

Law

Valentina is a practising lawyer and our master of Italian legal jargon. She graduated in Law in 2011 and after an intensive legal practice in Civil, Criminal and Administrative Law, she successfully passed the Italian Bar Examination in 2014. Being truly passionate about her job, she later specialised in Civil Law with a focus on road accidents and insurance law, professional liability and compensation for damages. She has also gained considerable experience in credit recovery, over-indebtedness and foreclosure procedures, and has developed expertise in Family Law and all its related issues (separation, divorce, child custody, etc.).
Valentina has been recently specialising in Immigration Law, especially assisting people who want to acquire Italian citizenship or appeal against residence permits or visas denials.
